🎓 New Stay-in-Taiwan Policy for Overseas & International Graduates (Effective Jan 1, 2026)

Description

📢 Starting 2026, work freely without a permit during your extension period !

🌟Three Major Highlights
1️⃣ Work Without a Permit
Starting Jan 1, 2026, OCFS with an extension permit can be hired directly without a work permit.
2️⃣ Unlimited Career Exploration
No restrictions on industries or job titles. Both full-time and part-time positions are fully open.
3️⃣ 2-Year Golden Springboard
The extension follows a "1+1 year" model, giving you up to two years to plan your career.

⚠️Important Notes
• APRC: Time spent on extension does not count toward APRC residency requirements.
• Eligibility: This new system does not apply to those who have already switched to a work ARC and subsequently left their jobs.
•2025 Graduates: Can apply for a replacement ARC with updated notes starting 2026 (Fee:NT500).

• When to apply: Within 30 days before your current residence permit expires.
• Fee: NT$1,000.
